DESCRIPTION:

Chamomile evokes cozy evenings and soothing cups of tea; However, Roman chamomile is one of the oldest recorded medicinal herbs and has been used for centuries to treat many ailments. The ancient Egyptians used the calming properties of this attractive plant as a fever remedy, and chamomile was a staple remedy for British herbalists for generations. Native to Western Europe, the Chamo-mile plant is commercially grown in the UK, France and Hungary. The essential oil is extracted from the attractive white flowers and stems of chamomile (Anthemis nobilis), which, when distilled, gives off a sweet, fruity and herbal fragrance. Chamomile is widely known for its mind-calming properties and is used in aromatherapy to combat anxiety and soothe frayed nerves. It is also a great help with insomnia. Applied to the skin, chamomile will help soothe irritated or inflamed skin caused by sun exposure, dehydration, or general dryness. PRODUCT INGREDIENTS: 100% ethically harvested Anthemis nobilis (camomile) flower oil

USE:

In the vaporizer: add 6 to 8 drops of essential oil to the vaporizer or burner. Inhalations: add 3 to 5 drops of essential oil to a bowl of very hot water, inhale the vapors for 5 to 10 minutes. (Inhalation only for children over 10 years of age.) For massage: dilute 5 drops of essential oil with 10 ml of a carrier oil, such as almond or jojoba oil. Bath: add 4 to 6 drops of essential oil per 20 ml of carrier oil. Mix in water.

COMMENTS:

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use directly on the skin. Not for children under 5 years old. Consult your doctor before using essential oils during pregnancy. Store in a dry and cool place out of the reach of small children. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your physician before use. Not for internal use.
