Magnesium acts as a cofactor in the body by participating in over 300 enzymatic reactions and many bodily functions. It is essential for the proper functioning of muscles and the nervous system as well as energy production.
Magnesium comes in many forms, with varying degrees of absorption. Citrate is a form of magnesium that is well absorbed by the body. Fushi Whole Food Magnesium combines magnesium citrate with cocoa, dates and pumpkin seed powder to increase the bioavailability of the supplement. These ingredients contain many plant-derived substances that improve the absorption and action of magnesium. Dates are an excellent source of energy and fibre.
