WHAT IS FOLIC ACID? Folic acid is a water-soluble nutrient that belongs to the B vitamin family. It is essential for the formation of red blood cells. OUR FOLIC ACID SUPPLEMENT Our folic acid supplement provides 400 μg of high-quality methylfolate in a convenient capsule form. We used L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) to create our folic acid supplement. L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate is a metabolically active form of folic acid found in nature. Synthetic folic acid must go through several biochemical changes in the body to become 5-MTHF. By supplementing with 5-MTHF instead of synthetic folic acid, you can be sure that you will get all the benefits of folic acid. HOW DOES FOLIC ACID WORK? Supplemental intake of folic acid increases maternal folic acid status. Low maternal folic acid levels are a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the developing fetus. The beneficial effect is obtained with the supplementation of 400 μg of folic acid daily for at least one month before and up to three months after conception in women of reproductive age. NO FILLERS Our supplement provides 400mcg of the highest quality folic acid in a vegetable cellulose capsule. We do not add any binding, filling or glazing substances. The vegetable cellulose capsule naturally breaks down in stomach acid, ensuring that the nutrients are absorbed by the body during digestion. SUITABLE FOR VEGAN Folic acid supplement is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. It is also Kosher approved and allergen free.
Usage: 1 capsule a day with water. Do not exceed the maximum amount of 1 serving (1 capsule) per day.
NOTES: Use by pregnant and lactating women only after consulting a doctor. Dietary supplements cannot be used as a substitute (replacement) of a varied diet. Do not use the preparation in case of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. It is important to use a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
